With effect from June 2013, the Brunei Intellectual Property Office (BruIPO), formerly known as the Patent Registry Office, has assumed responsibility for administration of trade mark registrations from the Attorney General’s Chambers. BruIPO will also be re-locating to a new building effective 01 July 2013. BruIPO now receives and processes all applications for patents, trade marks and industrial designs.
