The Government of Brunei Darussalam made an official notification to WIPO that, effective 19 March 2017, all international trade mark applications or subsequent designations of Brunei Darussalam must include a Declaration of Intention to Use the Mark. Applicants (or their consent holder) must declare that they have the intention to use the mark in Brunei and in connection with the goods or services claimed in the international application.
