Deepavali Lunch at Henry Goh
Deepavali or Diwali are both words derived from the Sanskrit language, which means rows of lighted lamps. It is celebrated by Hindus all around the world, as a religious festival that symbolizes triumph of good over evil or victory of light over darkness.
As a multi-cultural country, Deepavali which fell on 31 October this year was a public holiday in Malaysia. The celebrations continued at our office where the People of Henry Goh were feted to an authentic Indian buffet during lunch on 07 November 2024. A best dressed competition was held afterwards, and the finalists had to parade and sashay their outfits before the chosen winners walked away with gifts from the company.
At Henry Goh, we take pride in our multiracial workforce and the unity we share. On occasions such as this, we come together and truly embrace our Muhibbah spirit over and above the work that we do here.
