Industrial design has acquired much greater significance in recent times. As consumers increasingly take the technical function of goods for granted, design often becomes the decisive factor in a purchase.

Our designs practice dates from the coming into force of Malaysia’s independent designs law in 1999. As such, our approach is shaped from years of experience and the perspective of developments in law and practice that we have been exposed to in our daily operations.

We routinely assist clients in securing industrial design registrations both at home and abroad. Where appropriate, we will also advise on overlapping and complementary forms of protection such as copyright and trade mark.
