ITEX 2024 was held at the KL Convention Center from 16 to 18 May 2024 and showcased close to 700 inventions represented by participants from 15 countries. The competition and exhibition gave the participants a platform to gain recognition for their inventions in addition to competing for local and international awards.

The awards presentation dinner, aptly named “Malam Budaya Cipta”, celebrated the winning participants for their outstanding achievements. Henry Goh was honoured to present the ITEX 2024 Best Invention under the Artificial Intelligence category award for an invention entitled “Smart Traffic Impact Assessment System”. The winning team was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Michael Goh Kah Ong from the Faculty of Information Science & Technology (FIST) at Multimedia University (MMU), Malaysia.

The dinner featured delicious cuisine, music, and several traditional performances by professional dancers deserving of ITEX 2024 winners.
