The Japan Patent Office (JPO) and the Japan Institute for Promoting Invention and Innovation (JIPII) in cooperation with MyIPO organized this seminar in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The seminar served to share the latest updates and developments of IP legislation and practice in Malaysia and Japan. Among other topics, the seminar covered patent examination of Artificial Intelligence and the Internet of Things technologies by the JPO, an overview of the IP systems in Japan and Malaysia, and the experience and expectations of the IP systems from the perspectives of users and practitioners.

The seminar was attended by about 100 participants. Our Senior Legal Counsel, Ms Azlina Aisyah Khalid and Head of Patent and Industrial Design, Mr Dave A Wyatt represented Henry Goh at the event.
