MyIPO Launches IP Online Pilot Project
The Intellectual Property Corporation of Malaysia (MyIPO) has launched an initiative to encourage greater use of its online filing facilities for patents. Henry Goh Malaysia was one of six major IP firms identified by MyIPO as their premier patent filing customers and to be given priority technical assistance and training. Among other things, the IP Online Pilot Project will allow the manual filing of patent applications to include the submission of documents, especially the patent specification, in soft copy format. An inaugural meeting between MyIPO and representatives of the participating IP firms was held on 06 January 2012, with a follow-up meeting planned for February.
