Ally graduated in 2017 with an honours degree from University of Malaya in science, majoring in Biochemistry. In the same year, she joined Henry Goh as a patent scientist.

Ally has the ability to communicate in both spoken and written Chinese. Owing to her passion in teaching and sharing knowledge, she had been a primary school substitute teacher and a tuition teacher.

Her undergraduate final year project was focused on the antioxidant activity of Mentha Spicata L. incorporated in functional food. During the course of graduation, she completed her industrial training in a medical center as a medical laboratory technician.

Ally completed her in-house training and sat for the Malaysian Patent Agent Examination in 2019. Ally qualified as a registered patent agent in 2020. Currently, Ally is involved in handling formalities and prosecution of patent applications as well as conducting novelty searches and freedom-to-operate searches.

Ally is a nature lover. She enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with family and friends.
