Amelia joined the firm in 2004 upon completion of her diploma in Business Studies from Tunku Abdul Rahman College. After having been exposed and worked in this vibrant industry for a few years, Amelia developed a profound interest in law, especially IP. To chase her passion, she went to law school and graduated with an LL.B degree (Hons) from Aberystwyth University, Wales, United Kingdom.
In her years with Henry Goh, Amelia has invested time, dedication and hard work to master knowledge and skills in trademark and copyright practice. Amelia is well-trained to deliver sound pre-filing advice to both local and foreign clients, including handling formalities and prosecution of trademarks. As an experienced Trade Mark Executive, her primary portfolio consists of attending to trademark enquiries and executing prosecution work for a wide array of trademarks filed domestically and overseas. Further, her proficiency in written and spoken Mandarin is undoubtedly an added asset that facilitates smoother communication with Chinese-speaking clients.
With her innate cheerful, positive and down-to-earth personality, Amelia works well with clients and colleagues. She enjoys engaging with people and is in constant pursuit of knowledge. Amelia forms part of Henry Goh’s core team for networking and business development to widen the firm’s clientele and business.
Aside from work, Amelia is active in reading, swimming, cooking, outdoor activities and spending time with family and friends.
