Joyce graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) (Hons) from the University of Malaya in 2021. Upon completion of her pupillage, she was admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Sabah & Sarawak.

Joyce began her legal career in the area of conveyancing, where she developed a strong foundation in property transactions, including sale and purchase agreements, loan documentation, due diligence exercises, and related advisory work. Through this experience, she cultivated meticulous attention to detail, sound drafting skills, and a practical understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements that are all useful in the world of intellectual property as well.

In 2025, Joyce joined Henry Goh as a Legal Executive, focusing primarily on trademark and copyright law. As a fast learner with strong attention to detail, she quickly assumed responsibility for managing the full spectrum of trademark prosecution work for a particular group of clients. Her portfolio includes conducting clearance searches, preparing and filing applications, responding to examination reports, and overseeing the registration process through to completion. She maintains close liaison with both client and MyIPO, she ensures seamless prosecution processes and full compliance with statutory and procedural requirements.

Joyce regularly advises clients on trademark registrability, protection strategies, and portfolio management, providing clear and commercially practical guidance tailored to their business objectives. She is committed to delivering responsive, detail-oriented service and supporting clients in safeguarding and strengthening their brand assets.

Outside of her professional commitments, Joyce maintains an active lifestyle and enjoys pickleball and badminton. Her enthusiasm for teamwork and discipline on the court reflects the same dedication and energy she brings to her legal practice.
