To honour the hard work and dedication of our incredible team, we celebrated the Henry Goh Staff Appreciation Day on Friday, 06 December 2024. The day was filled with activities designed to show our gratitude and to create lasting memories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A Day to Remember<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The festivities began with a group photoshoot at the picturesque Velocity Garden @Sunway Velocity. Our team, dressed in casual business attire, gathered promptly at 9:00 AM. The professional photographer captured stunning images of the entire company, as well as individual departments, including the Management Support Team, Trademark Department, and Patent Department. The photoshoot was a wonderful opportunity for everyone to shine and to showcase the unity and diversity within our team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the photoshoot, we enjoyed a delightful Appreciation Luncheon at the Management Office. The office was festively decorated, creating a warm and celebratory atmosphere. Professional photographers and videographers were present to capture the special moments throughout the luncheon. The event began with a heartfelt introduction by our emcee, who expressed gratitude for everyone\u2019s hard work and dedication. Here is an excerpt from the emcee\u2019s speech:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWelcome to the Henry Goh Staff Appreciation Day. Today is a specially curated celebration to honour the hard work, dedication, and achievements of each one of you. Your contributions have been invaluable, and this luncheon and tonight\u2019s programme are our way of saying thank you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I would like to take a moment to recap some of the significant achievements we\u2019ve accomplished this year:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Our trademark team has been awarded the prestigious Gold Band by WTR 1000 for Trademark Prosecution in Malaysia.<br>\u2022 We received the Gold Band&nbsp;<img decoding=\"async\" width=\"14\" alt=\"?\" src=\"https:\/\/s.w.org\/images\/core\/emoji\/15.0.3\/svg\/1f3c6.svg\">&nbsp;recognition by the IAM Patent 1000 for Patent Prosecution in Malaysia for 2024.<br>\u2022 Recognised as Tier 1 for Trademark Prosecution in Malaysia by Managing IP for 2024.<br>\u2022 Recognised as Tier 1 for Patent Prosecution in Malaysia by Managing IP for 2024<br>\u2022 We achieved victory in the Malaysia IP Prosecution Firm of the Year category at the Managing IP Asia Pacific Awards 2024.<br>\u2022 Named Patent Agency of the Year \u2013 Malaysia at the Global IP Awards 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These accolades are a testament to our collective effort and spirit. Just like the gladiators we\u2019ll be watching tonight, we have shown incredible strength, resilience, and teamwork throughout the year.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All the Directors and the respective Heads of Department took turns to personally thank their teams, highlighting individual and collective achievements. This segment was particularly moving, as it underscored the strong sense of community and camaraderie within Henry Goh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>An Evening of Entertainment<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As the workday concluded, we transitioned to an evening of entertainment. The excitement continued at TGV Indulge, Sunway Velocity, where we had a private movie screening of \u201cGladiators 2\u201d. Before the movie, we premiered a special video featuring all our employees and teams in their office settings. It was a proud moment for everyone, as it was the first time they appeared on the silver screen! The luxurious setting, complete with premium recliner seats and gourmet dining, provided the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable movie night. Our choice of film, \u201cGladiators 2\u201d, symbolised our spirit of resilience and excellence in the IP industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The night didn\u2019t end there. After the movie, we headed to Karaoke Manekineko for a fun-filled singing session. It was a fantastic way to unwind and bond with colleagues through singing and dancing. Although attendance was optional, many of our team members joined, making it a lively and joyous conclusion to the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A Heartfelt Thank You<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Henry Goh Staff Appreciation Day was a resounding success, thanks to the participation and enthusiasm of every individual here. We are immensely proud of our staff, the People of Henry Goh, and their unwavering commitment to excellence.
