While he was not required to attend the event, our Head of Patent and Industrial Design, Mr Dave A Wyatt contributed a presentation that compared the European patent system with those of ASEAN countries, notably Malaysia and Singapore. Other topics covered were the High Technology Landscape and Environment in Malaysia by the Director of the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) Munich, and Intellectual Property Rights in a Nutshell.
