Since joining in 2017 they have been an invaluable addition to the Firm, both being involved in handling the formalities and prosecution aspects of patent applications. After completing their in house training in 2019, they subsequently sat for the Malaysian Patent Agent Examination and qualified as agents earlier this year. As they transition into their new roles, Ally and Qi Yuen will be more involved in drafting patent specifications and conducting searches.

With Ally and Qi Yen being the latest patent agents joining the ranks, the Firm now has 13 professionally qualified personnel for patent agency work, a feat that is commendable in itself.
