CSR Project: Bridging the Digital Education Divide in Malaysia
Henry Goh Malaysia is pleased to support Connect.ED, a social enterprise that repairs and refurbishes secondhand laptops for students to access e-learning.
The initiative is to bridge the digital education divide amongst Malaysian students by providing digital resources and upskilling opportunities, ultimately preparing them for the job market.
Our firm has donated two pre-loved laptops and funded the refurbishment costs of sixteen other laptops. Laptops were provided to students of three schools in the states of Selangor, Pahang and Terengganu.
The Principal, Hjh. Norlia Binti Zolkiaply and Co-curriculum Senior Assistant, Mr Masnawi Bin Misro of SMK Pendamaran Jaya, Selangor, one of the recipient schools, handed over the laptops to the students before the school’s planned re-opening.
