About Amelia Ho

Amelia joined the firm in 2004 upon completion of her diploma in business studies. With a profound interest in Intellectual Property, she worked her way up the ladder and built her entire career in IP with Henry Goh from being an administrative assistant all the way to a registered trademark agent. Chasing her dreams, she decided to read law in and graduated with an LLB (Hons) degree from Aberystwyth University, Wales, United Kingdom in 2012.

Amelia is well-trained to deliver sound advice to both domestic and international clients, including handling formalities and prosecution of trademarks. As an experienced Trademark Executive and Agent, her primary portfolio consists of attending to trademark enquiries and executing all facets of prosecution work for a wide array of trademarks filed domestically and overseas.  She also oversees a small team of staff handling renewals and trademark transactions for Asian clients.

Amelia always invests time and effort to delve into understanding the business and IP intricacies of the client so that she can assist them better. Further, her proficiency in written and spoken Mandarin is undoubtedly an added asset that facilitates smoother communication and networking with clients from China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and of course Malaysia. She is a highly resourceful professional with the ability to work fast and effectively under pressure.

To chalk up another career milestone, Amelia sat for the Malaysian Trademark Agent Examination in 2021 and subsequently qualified as a registered trademark agent. In recognition of her contributions as a valuable team player, Amelia was promoted to Senior Trademark Executive in 2022.

With her innate cheerful disposition, Amelia works well with all she encounters. She forms part of Henry Goh’s core team responsible for networking and business development activities in furtherance of the firm’s goals.
