Amelia joined the firm in 2004 upon completion of her diploma in business studies. Within a span of a few years thereafter, she developed a profound interest in Intellectual Property. Chasing her dreams, she decided to read law in and graduated with an LLB (Hons) degree from Aberystwyth University, Wales, United Kingdom in 2012.

Since joining the firm, Amelia has invested time and effort in mastering the trademark and copyright practice. Amelia is well-trained to deliver sound advice to both domestic and international clients, including handling formalities and prosecution of trademarks. As an experienced Executive, her primary portfolio consists of attending to trademark enquiries and executing prosecution work for a wide array of trademarks filed domestically and overseas. Further, her proficiency in written and spoken Mandarin is undoubtedly an added asset that facilitates smoother communication with Chinese-speaking clients.

To chalk up another career milestone, Amelia recently sat for the Malaysian Trademark Agent Examination in 2021 and subsequently qualified as a registered trademark agent. In recognition of her contributions as a valuable team player, Amelia was promoted as a Senior Trademark Executive in 2022.

With her innate cheerful disposition, Amelia works well with all she comes into contact with. She forms part of Henry Goh’s core team responsible for networking and business development activities in furtherance of the firm’s goals.

Aside from work, Amelia enjoys reading, swimming, cooking, outdoor activities and spending time with family and friends.
