New Head of Trademark
We are delighted to announce the well-deserved promotion of Lim Eng Leong to the position of Head of Trademark effective 01 March 2024.

Eng Leong has been an invaluable colleague, consistently demonstrating leadership skills and exceptional dedication as well as expertise in the field of trademarks, earning the respect and admiration of both colleagues and clients alike. His comprehensive understanding of Malaysian intellectual property laws especially trademarks, coupled with a strategic mindset and commitment in delivering outstanding results, makes him the ideal candidate for this demanding position. He has made significant contributions throughout his tenure at the company, 18 years to date, in his various capacities as Senior Legal Counsel, Trademark Manager and Business Development Strategist.

As Head of Trademark, Eng Leong will lead our efforts in managing our substantial trademark portfolio for our clients, both local and foreign. He is responsible for providing strategic guidance and will oversee the entire trademark operations within the department.

New Head of Legal
We are pleased to announce Azlina Aisyah Khalid has been appointed as the new Head of Legal for Henry Goh, effective 01 March 2024.

Azlina has demonstrated exceptional leadership, legal acumen, and dedication during her long tenure with the Firm. Her profound understanding of our company’s objectives, coupled with her strategic vision and unwavering commitment to excellence makes her a perfect fit for this crucial role.

As Head of Legal, Azlina will still be involved in daily operations in addition to being responsible for all legal matters, providing strategic guidance, and ensuring the Firm’s compliance and best practices. We anticipate that Azlina in her new position will continue to assist the company in safeguarding our interests, which will facilitate our growth and success in the ever-evolving intellectual property landscape in Malaysia.

Promotion of Senior Patent Agents
We are thrilled to announce the well-deserved promotions of Yan Pei Chun, Ki Wan Sia, Hawa Diyana Saim to the position of Senior Patent Agents within our esteemed company.

With a cumulative total of more than 40 years of patent working experience between them, there is no doubt that the promotions are timely, and these appointments will further strengthen Henry Goh’s name within the intellectual property arena. These ladies have consistently demonstrated exceptional dedication, expertise and innovation in their specialist fields of computational physics and electronics, biochemistry, electrical and electronic engineering respectively, earning the respect and admiration of both colleagues and clients. Their relentless pursuit of excellence and commitment to deliver outstanding work for their clients has truly set them apart.

As Senior Patent Agents, Pei Chun, Ki and Diyana will continue to play a pivotal role in driving our mission in remaining as Malaysia’s top Intellectual Property Firm in Malaysia. We hope to leverage on their extensive knowledge and skills to protect and maximize our client’s valuable assets.

Promotion of IT Manager and Accounts Team Leader
Chin Jian Hao, who has a background in Information Technology, has served the company for the past 15 years in the IT department.

One of Chin’s notable contributions is his instrumental role in the design, planning, development and implementation of the company’s customized case management system, which is integral to daily operational work.

In recognition of his commitment and work excellence throughout his tenure here, Chin has been promoted to IT Manager. In this role, he takes charge of the firm’s dedicated in-house IT team with the responsibility of overseeing, maintaining and securing all our computer systems, networks and data storage.

Amber Hoo joined Henry Goh in 2008 and was recently promoted to the position of Accounts Team leader. Her job responsibilities include accounting management, financial reporting, internal and external auditing procedures, and tax-related matters. She supervises, directs, and coordinates the daily activities of the Accounts Department and works closely with the Management Team.

We wish both Chin and Amber well in their new positions and look forward to their continued service with the company.

New Hires to the Management Support Team
The office is happy to announce the hiring of two key personnel.

Firstly, we introduce Lew Choy Foong as the Firm’s new HR & Admin Manager. Choy Foong brings with her nearly 20 years of working experience and we welcome her as a valuable addition. With her extensive HR knowledge and skills set, we anticipate that she will be able to foster a more positive workplace environment as well as being instrumental in driving the Firm’s HR initiatives which are put in place to support the People of Henry Goh’s growth and development.

In addition, Ng Kok Lim has joined our Firm as the new Finance Manager. He oversees the daily operations of the accounts department and has more than 15 years of experience. Given his work track record, the Firm is confident that he will make a positive contribution to the company. We are excited to have him on board and look forward to working together in achieving the Firm’s financial goals.
